Techniques
Kusanagi-no-Tsurugi is a blade of the wind and therefore has the ability to control it. This control is not absolute but the flexibility it can cause currents to have is great indeed. In theory the way that this blade works is simple, by taking a wind current already present in the air it just makes it move at a faster pace of even halting it all together. This is done by the use of Jace’s wind style chakras. By taking his energy and channeling it into the blade the weapon takes over and uses that force by shoving it into the air by either getting behind it and pushing it along for quicker speed or by using it to push against the wind and stopping it’s flow almost completely.
Air Slice: The chakra in the blade swells up in the area causing the wind that passes through it to almost become trapped in a type of bubble. This bubble is filled completely with energy and air until it is full and nearly about to burst then is released at high speed in a single direction. This attack is similar to getsuga tensho in its shape and the attack has all the excess air that was waiting to become engulfed in the sack follows in a high speed gust that would dislodge medium sized plants from their roots.
Origins: Tengoku no kaze was crafted in the ages when humans were young and the idea of war was in the early stages of being born. As such it was intended not for mindless killing but instead as a way to maintain discipline for opening the mind and spirit. The former owners of this blade have been marked down in history as the ones who end wars and great peace keepers, as such this blade has gained a reputation for enforcing whatever type of justice the user sees fit. Only one man has ever used the blade for evil in its history and in turn this man was slaughtered and his sword was taken from his bloody corpse to be passed down to proper heirs. This is when the blade was taken into the Mist village as a weapon for the elite group know as the seven swordsman. For centuries now the group has used this blade and passed it down to those who kill viciously and calmly so that never again would it be used for the senseless deaths of people.
